Enlarge an Image Without Losing Quality

Enlarging an image the traditional way produces blur, because the software guesses the missing pixels by averaging their neighbours. Super-resolution models were instead trained on millions of image pairs, so they know what real detail looks like and reconstruct edges and textures rather than guessing arithmetically.

The result is far sharper than ordinary enlargement. But note: the model reconstructs detail — it cannot recover what was never captured, so very blurry originals stay limited.
